Eventually, a haunt triggers and one player turns against the rest. The rules for the second half change depending on the scenario. The balance can be quite rough. Sometimes the traitor wins in five minutes. You play this for the horror vibe, not for deep tactical combat. It is highly replayable since the house layout changes every single time you play.
