Return Policy

At OlakaGamesCanada, we want you to be fully satisfied with every board game and product you purchase from us. This Returns & Refunds Policy explains our guidelines clearly and fairly. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.

Please note: Most returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, the item must meet all of the following:

  • Returned within 30 days from the date you received it.
  • Unused and unopened (shrink-wrap or seals intact).
  • In original packaging with all components, accessories, and documentation.
  • In the same resalable condition as when shipped.

2. Non-Returnable Items

Certain products cannot be returned for hygiene, licensing, or practical reasons. These include:

  • Board games or products with broken shrink-wrap or opened seals.
  • Personalized, custom, or engraved items.
  • Digital downloads, gift cards, or electronic codes.
  • Pre-order items after they have been released and shipped.
  • Clearance, final sale, or items explicitly marked as non-returnable.
  • Products damaged due to customer misuse or improper handling.

Exceptions may apply where required by applicable consumer protection laws in your province.

3. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged during shipping, or wrong item, contact us as soon as possible — ideally within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with you quickly to resolve the issue.

In such cases, we will cover the return shipping costs and offer either a full refund (including original shipping) or a replacement at no extra charge, depending on availability.

4. How to Return an Item

  1. Email us at [email protected] with your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Wait for our approval and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
  4. Ship it to the address we provide in the RMA (we recommend using a trackable service).

Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is defective or we made an error.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process the refund within 5–10 business days:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
  • Original shipping costs are generally non-refundable (except for defective or incorrect items).
  • A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply in some cases where permitted by law.

6. Exchanges

We are happy to offer exchanges when stock is available. Follow the same return process and let us know which replacement item you would like. Any price difference will be handled accordingly.

7. Risk of Loss During Return

You are responsible for ensuring the returned item reaches us in good condition. We recommend using insured, trackable shipping. Risk of loss or damage during return shipping remains with you until we receive the package.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Returns & Refunds Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The “Last Updated” date at the top shows the most recent revision. Your continued use of our store after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
